Things aren’t all great when you’re 4-9 in the SEC. As Andy Kennedy has tried different things with his lineup, so is Alabama coach Mark Gottfried, blogs Huntsville’s Paul Gattis. When the Crimson Tide visits Ole Miss Saturday, the Rebels may see less of athletic 6-6 forward Alonzo Gee than they saw in Tuscaloosa.
Gee is the Tide’s second-leading scorer and rebounder, but he saw his minutes take a hit in the Tide’s 59-56 home win over Arkansas on Wednesday. They were replaced by a freshman.
Matt, you got an opinion on this from over there in Crimson Country?

PA, they are not talking about anything surrounding Basketball except getting rid of Gottfried. All my “buddies” here talked like Andy Kennedy would be a good fit earlier in the season, but haven’t heard much of that after losing here. They are focused on Football, as usual.

I think I may have lost a year off my life after the last game. Need a big win.

J. Moore don’t let the Rebels dictate life. Find a backup plan.

PA,
The same radio host that got Shula fired is working up the faithful to have Gottfried fired. Last month Gottfried’s gave him a piece of her mind during halftime of a BAMA game. That had to be interesting dinner conversation after the game at the Gottfried’s home.

I left out that it was Gottfried’s wife who blessed out Paul Finebaum.

Just checked the radar, it appears the rain has moved away.

Hey Stuck, is there an audio clip of that discussion between Mrs. Gottfried and Finebaum, or was that just something where she approached him on the side of the court?

PA,
I am not aware of an audio clip, Finebaum discussed it on his show as well as other sports talk shows. He was sitting in his seat when she began the butt chewing. If memory serves me correctly, the incident lasted just about the entire halftime.

PA-just joking. Thought it was a fun game to watch. I can assure you I am not foaming at the mouth
