HOOPS: Settled in a Tad Smith

By djrebel

I’ve got the baseball gamer filed, and I’m half-way home in this long doubleheader. Some big names here for senior night: Houston Nutt, former Ole Miss coach Rob Evans, now an Arkansas assistant, SEC commissioner Mike Slive and Minnesota coach Tubby Smith. His son Brian will play in his final Ole Miss game.

when does the game begin, officially? the game on ESPN is running late — still 8 minutes to play in the Ohio State game.

tip was 8:05. it’s got it in the top right corner, the score & time anyway.

I’m in class. Can someone give a score update?

  4. m4rebs Says:

espn360.com and install their flash player and you can watch it for free.

  5. m4rebs Says:

    26-19 w/ under 8 to go. Rebs

  6. m4rebs Says:

32-21 Rebs, 5 & change to play. Let me know when to stop.

I think it was disrespect for ESPN not at least put us on ESPNEWS or ESPN2 while that game was going on. ESPNEWS was running their 3,532,254,786th Brett Favre highlight reel (yes I like the guy but he retired it’s over with) and they could’ve shown our game until the Purdue/OSU game finished out. I’ve seen plenty of times when a game goes over they simulcast the other game over another channel. Ridiculous in my opinion.

Also, ESPN2 was running NBA Coast-2-Coast. I mean….really? You can’t give them fifteen minutes delay but our ONLY Super Tuesday game gets delayed almost halfway through the game?
