FYI: Slater steps down at Auburn

Tom Slater has resigned as Auburn baseball coach. It’s not clear at this point if Ron Polk or Mike Bianco are candidates. (Ha.)

On the field, State has scored four runs in the sixth without the benefit of a hit and now leads Arkansas 10-9. The Bulldogs have scored eight unanswered runs.

South Carolina is pulling away from Tennessee, which would make Ole Miss the 8 seed playing Georgia at 5 p.m. on Wednesday.

USC won. UM is officially the 8 seed.

  2. Jimmy Barbee Says:

It doesn’t matter who Ole Miss plays, its a neutral playing field for all. The Rebs have beaten every team in that tournment. So, if their first foe is Ga, thats great, put them into the loser bracket and move on.

We got Northeast Mississippi boy on that staff at Auburn.
