Ok, watching the game on tv and one of the OM guys was just giving a teammate a back rub. Hmmmmm. Gives a whole new meaning to “taking one for the team.”

Not real sure. It was two players. Never saw two ball players doing that before.

  11. farley662 Says:

Also, could you ask Fuller Smith why he tugs at his crotch in between each pitch?

  12. farley662 Says:

Do the OM fans really think the Vandy pitcher meant to hit Smith with a 1-2 count? Or do they just like to complain about everything? You are up by four, shut up!

  15. djrebel Says:

Farley, some questions are so personal that we employ stringers to ask them. Are you interested in that job?

You are right, it seems crazy that a pitcher would throw at a guy with two strikes, but there’s a lot of bad blood between these two, and I believe neither team minds inflicting a little pain on the other.

It looked like de la Osa would make a shoe string catch, but it got by him. Smith got to second, Henry to third. It’s ruled a 2-base error. I thought it should have been a single and E9.

That’s it for Schwartz. New Vandy pitcher is right-hander Mark Lamm. He’s got a 3.30 ERA in 30 innings. His first warm-up pitch was wild, and Ole Miss fans are enjoying taunting him right now.
