Ugh, my spirit sank a little bit when I saw Baker was going to start today, I was really hoping for Lynn to give it a shot. If Baker holds true to form though, he’ll give up about 5 runs in 2 innings and then pitch a shutout the rest of the way. Maybe he’ll give us a solid start for once and we can put a halt to the Tiger train in the long run. We also need the offense to break out today, I say we’ll need at least 8 runs to win this one. It’s a tall task today, but it can be done, Hotty Toddy!

Pitching’s a wash today. Everybody’s staff is in about the same shape. This game will be won by who hits better.

Baker has the talent but I wonder about the confidence to throw the ball over the plate. I’m still not a Satterwhite fan but I remember a phenominal relief outing he had last year against MSU – maybe once more. Considering where we were prior to last Saturday vs UK there is a lot of upside and a season waiting to be made.
