FOOTBALL: Scrimmage at 6 p.m.

Meet The Rebels activities begin at 1:30 today in the indoor facility. Good thing too, since it’s still raining here in Tupelo. Maybe the rain will clear out by then like it’s supposed to.

I know most of the Rebels, so I’m not going at 1:30. The second major scrimmage of August camp is tonight at 6. It’s free and open to the public. Ole Miss coach Houston Nutt says he’ll be looking closely at his reserves this evening.

PA, pass the word to Coach Nutt that this ole Reb fans is expecting eights wins this season. Dementia may catch up with this ole Reb soon and cannot remember any of those outstanding football teams that Ole Miss has put out there. Jimmy

Eli according to the USAToday, yesterdays edition, states that he has lot more to prove. He is not anymore the other manning. It appears that he and Coach Tom Coughlin are good buddies now. Early last year the two them was close to being run out of NY. Now they own it. WOW!!!!
