FOOTBALL: SEC story lines

This comes from ESPN’s Chris Low. He’s impressed by Jevan Snead after two games. Hard not to be. One item to follow is Stephen Garcia at South Carolina. The Gamecocks are on deck at Ole Miss in a couple of weeks. They’ve been dreadful on offense, and a lot of people are hoping Garcia may improve things. Looks like he’ll get a shot at some level against Georgia.

    How’s Oxford today, PA?

Oxford is fine. Gas was $3.99 at the Pontotoc Wal-Mart, which is where I usually stop. It’s pretty hot outside, but I’ve combated the heat by coming inside. Didn’t make it over to the Grove today.

what’s with the parking this year? we usually get to the game about 3 hours early and don’t have too much trouble finding a place to park. this year our old spot is already gone by then.
