Rebels stiffen with a TFL from Hardy for 3 yards against Tebow, who throws incomplete to a diving receiver in the end zone two plays later.

Gators get a 32-yard field goal from Jonathan Phillips to make it 7-3 with 13:31 left in the second quarter.

Snead was 3-for-4 for 51 yards before throwing his first pick. That’s eight interceptions since his last touchdown pass.

It looked like confusion on the route. Hodge was running long toward the side, and the pass was short and more toward the middle when it was picked by Major Wright.

The Gators scored the next play. Kendrick Lewis tried to make a play on a pass from Tebow. Lewis tipped it, not down or picking it off. Percy Harvin grabbed it and easily reached the end zone.

Florida 10, Ole Miss 7 with 12:26 left in the quarter.

A 40-yard kick return by Wallace gave Ole Miss the ball at the 50, but the drive ended after two straight sacks by Florida LB Brandon Spikes.

Park’s short punt gets worse when it bounces back Florida’s way. It’s a 22-yard net effort, and Florida, after Ole Miss had the ball at the 50, has it at the 43.

Rebels for a 3-and-out, thanks to a combined Walker-Hardy sack on first down.

Rebels at the 20, 8:16.

3-and-out for the Rebels, and as good as the defense is playing, they are bound to get tired.

Ole Miss’ Ted Laurent just recovered a Florida fumble. The TE Hernandez had just gained a bunch of yards on a shovel pass.

It is Florida’s first turnover of the season.

Ole Miss gets nine yards on three plays and calls time out with 2:38 left on fourth-and-1 from the 44.

It’s a punt and a good call.

I still agree with the call, even though the defensive collapse is coming a little sooner than I imagined. Guess they’re getting tired in the first half.

Pass completion plus a legit rough hit call against Trahan gets the Gators to the 48. Then there’s a 22-yard completion to Harvin down the left side.

From the 30 it’s Harvin on a crossing route. He squirts out of a bunch of Ole Miss defenders after about a 10-yard gain, then gets to the 1. Tebow scores on the next play.

81 yards, 5 plays.

The defense didn’t look good there, but I’m saying you have to hold the ball a little bit to prevent things like that.

Rebels get the ball at the Florida 40 after a 37-yard Wallace return plus a late hit.

Rebels get to the Florida 17 after a 28-yard run by Bolden.

They back up to the 33 after Hodge is called for pass interference on a pass from Bolden, followed by a false start against Darryl Harris and a delay of game

Before all that was a fumblerooskie carry up the middle by McCluster, but it gained only three yards.

Finally on third down from the 38 with 31 to go, Snead throws incomplete.

Florida 17, Ole Miss 7

PA, looked like Snead was hit causing the ball to float and come up short on the int.

End of the second quarter was terrible for the Rebels. Looked like Snead got hit from behind on that pass he threw for an interception, which caused him to throw short. 3rd quarter is looking better with the turnover. Looks like the Rebels just recovered turnover #3! GO REBELS!!!

    TOUCHDOWN OLE MISS!!!! 17-17.

The Gators are looking sloppy. You guys are taking advantage of those mistakes. Very good game.

  5. farley662 Says:

What on Earth was that punt by the Gators?

Michael, we were talking about that a few minutes ago, and sounds like he was hit. I was looking downfield and missed it.
