FYI: Out of town

Greetings all. I wasn’t around the blog much today and won’t be tomorrow. I’ve taken a football-season holiday for the first time in my career. Got the family in Atlanta for Six Flags tomorrow. Farley, Draws, no open date trip to Starkville this time. I’ll be back in town and back around the blog Sunday afternoon.

PA, you and family have a wonderful vacation. Forget about Draws and Farley, they are trying to figure out what a tailgate thing really is. My thoughts are, that both, are chow “hounds”.

Hey PA, have a great weekend with the family… well deserved. Thanks for the great coverage of the first half of the roller coaster season.

    God Bless!

Thanks guys. Have a good “Game Day.” I’ll be on Goliath, Ninja and the Mindbender, but I’ll be missing a great TV game day. Maybe I can catch some of LSU-Florida later.

PA, hope you had a great weekend with the family.
When will the Press Conf. be this week? I don’t want to suggest questions, but I’m still baffled at the lack of “hurry-up” in our offense on the 4th Q drive that resulted in a field goal vs. SC–with the obvious need for 2 scores & about 8 mins. on the clock, we were as slow (& sometimes confused) as ever and used up over 4 mins. I’ve read where Saban runs a hurry-up in the last 30 mins. of most practices–do we even have a hurry-up offense?
Also, after the Fla. game, C. Eason commented on his screen pass TD, saying we had many variations of the screen & how he thought they’d use it more since it had been successful. I may be mistaken & please correct me, but I don’t think we used it even once vs. SC, despite several situations that seemed to cry out for it as Snead was getting more pressure.

Rebnutt, those are good questions. Thanks.

Bro-n-law, we got back a few minutes ago. Thanks for the prayers. Keep it up.

We’re getting back in the groove now. The girls are going to Emily’s dress rehearsal, and the guys are watching the Saints and waiting to see when they’ll lose the lead.

Hey, do you really think that if Dexter doesn’t fumble the ball, the rebs might win this football game? What do you say about Alabama’s offensive line? Will that be a major problem for the rebels? Do you think that Jeaven Sneed will come out slinging like he did against the gators? I say that the rebels will have a close game, and that they will win by a field goal.

  11. no_handle Says:

Kylebuddy, I like your optimism. Rebels don’t usually play well in Tuscaloosa even in the best of times, though. My guess is the Rebels lose by a hefty margin, but I hope you are right.

  12. djrebel Says:

Kylebuddy, if Dexter doesn’t fumble and does the things he normally does in a football game, the Rebels will have a chance. They’ve had a chance in each of their losses, and he’s done some nice things in those games.

I think Alabama’s offensive line will be the best Ole Miss has faced this season. The Rebels will need a very good game from their defensive line, but it’s a very good group right now.

Good luck with your prediction, and nice spelling.

No-handle, you’ve been an Ole Miss fan too long with that hefty margin stuff. This staff hasn’t produced a hefty-margin loss yet.

PA, I wouldn’t say I’ve been an Ole Miss fan “too long”, but definitely a long, long time…about 40 years of memories.
