FOOTBALL: Just a few plays …

That’s a common theme among football coaches and teams. How good could Ole Miss be if it could make those “few” plays. Apparently pretty darn good, since the team it was a few plays from beating yesterday, Alabama, is No. 2 in the first BCS rankings.

They did not make those “few” plays and did fumbled away other chances, so that’s why they are 3-4. The Rebs are a very good football team despite this record. I do believe it will be a bowl invitation for them this season.

I am not going back over what I posted yesterday on there accomplishment against the #2 and #4 national rated teams. Beating one, and almost beating the other on the opponents home field. This being said; they are capable and have proved that they can compete with the best. Probably the major obstacle ahead could be LSU. Ark, a very heated confrontation, I pick Ole Miss a winner, but a close one.

Hereon, I believe they can run the table, if stop shooting themselves in the foot.

If you guys will, will y’all pray for Aedan today? He’s having another heart cath as I’m writing this at LaBonheur. I know everything is going to be fine, but the more voices lifted up to the Lord the better.

Farley, Aedan got my prayer. Hope things gow well for you.

He’s out of surgery. Everything went fine and looks good. They will decide on Wednesday when they are going to do the full open heart repair. They said it will be in the next few weeks.

    Thanks JB.

Thanks Larry. He’s doing really well. We are getting to go back home at 8am tomorrow.

The Rebel offense has scored 195 points thru the last 7 games. An avg 28/game. The Opponents have scored 172 points. Avg 25/game. A losing season so far. The way I see this ratio, Ole Miss could be heading for another losing season, sadly to say, if they don’t eliminate those costly mistakes. There is no give me’s ahead.
