FOOTBALL: Print edition game story

Here’s what it looked like from the press box. With the clouds and wind, it was a good day to be inside.

I was hoping for a link to a picture from the press box.
Did you mean for this to link to your print edition of the game?

Yep. Sorry 03. It’s a mental picture, just a figure of speech.

With Vandy winning last night, is it fair to assume OM is heading most likely to the Music City Bowl. Kentucky has been there for two straight years right? Add that with I’m sure the Music City committee would want to bring tourists to the city, not keep the local team in there. Now if they were to beat LSU next week, I’m sure that could possibly add to an argument for a better bowl, but it just seems to me that the bowl game will be in Nashville instead of somewhere like Atlanta or Memphis.

What if Kentucky loses to Tennessee and Ole Miss splits? Maybe a 7-win Ole Miss team gets to Atlanta ahead of a 6-win Kentucky team. I think if the Rebels beat LSU the Cotton Bowl is theirs to lose in the Egg Bowl.

i would think that a 7 win ole miss team would get to Atlanta ahead of a 7 win kentucky team, because of the way we have been playing as of late and would probably draw a pretty good crowd. And i agree that if we win the game next weekend then we will be playing the Egg Bowl for a cotton bowl trip. However, if South Carolina loses to Clemson in their last game, then I think we would have a good chance to play in the sunshine state if we win out, which might be a better game than against one of those high powered Big 12 teams. And if we did make it to the cotton bowl, if Missouri loses the Big 12 championship game, then wouldn’t we get them instead of the 3rd team in the south?? (assuming the top 2 in the south go to a BCS bowl) anybody know???
