It’ll be interesting to hear on Thursday how the players themselves feel about the matchup with Tech, especially the secondary. I know none will say they are scared, but are they actually hungery for the challenge. Forget about all the “Cotton Bowl” hype. Do they really want to play Texas Tech? Are they looking at this as an opprotunity to prove themselves? Thats what I want to know.

I heard that HDN and the Chancellor met again on Saturday. Is something still brewing or was it wrapping up unfinished business? Perhaps it was bowl talks/prep?

    Any word?

Remember, Nutt is only 2-6 in bowl games. I think he really approaches bowl games as a reward, not a gnat’s rear measuring stick. Don’t get me wrong, everyone wants to win, but I think he puts this stuff in perspective. A win will mean big time momentum going into next year, but losing with dignity will not be the end of Ole Miss Football.

John, I don’t know about a Saturday meeting, but I would think it was Auburn related. I think the threat of Nutt leaving has passed for this year. Looks like Auburn has gone to its Tier 2 choices.
