Man, what’s up with these Giant’s receivers getting themselves shot. Anybody know if they’ve set a date for the Red and Blue game yet?

  2. bigdraws Says:

    Sat, Apr 18

The baseball team will be in Gainesville though. Do they not usually have baseball game the same day as the red/blue game?

  3. Tyler-for-Heisman Says:

I wonder f the stadium contruction had anything to do with that. There usually is an SEC Home series that weekend.

  4. Charles Says:

That’s too bad about the bball schedule. I was really looking forward to catching a couple of games in the new stadium. Maybe there will be a tennis series that weekend. I heard we were picked as a favorite to win the SEC this year by the coaches!

Hope everything is ok w/Taye!GOD BLESS THIS REBEL!

  6. ColoradoReb Says:

Bigdraws I think every time I’ve ever been to the Red/Blue game they had a home bb game. It usually means the bb stadium is packed.

  7. bigdraws Says:

Creb, that’s what msu does. Only difference bt msu and om is the baseball game usually outdraws the football game, LOL!! Mullen’s trying to change that. Prolly have to be at least 14k at the football game.

  8. Charles Says:

If they had only pushed it back or forward a weekend, we could have seen the UGA or South Carolina series at home. That’s too bad. PA, do you know why they didn’t schedule a home baseball game for the same weekend?

  9. ColoradoReb Says:

Pete probably wanted to save money.

  10. bigdraws Says:

Yeah, I could see how not selling $10k tix to the game would help. I’m sure nobody would go for a hot dog and a coke either.

Charles, I don’t know why and actually hadn’t noticed it until you guys brought it up here. I know I look at things differently, but I don’t view this as a totally bad thing. It will let me focus on football and get three stories written from the spring game and not miss my baseball beat.

I know that’s little consolation. I also enjoy the atmosphere at the baseball game following a spring football game.

Anyone not familiar in operating them six-shooters ; better leave them alone. Sometime they will turn on you.

  13. Charles Says:

Good point PA. It is good to have the focus on football. Unfortunately, for someone like me coming down from Virginia, it’s the only chance I’ll get to catch a baseball game in the new stadium. Oh well.
