Life after Chris Warren got off to a slow start, but Andy Kennedy believes his team now has more clearly defined roles as the Rebels reach the mid-way point in the SEC schedule tonight against Auburn.

Good piece on the basketball team. The emergence of so many young players the past two years is a testament to Kennedy both as a recruiter and a coach. I hope this mess in Cincinnatti clears up and he decides to be a Rebel for a long time.

Although the basketball team seems to be priority number 2 today, I will still be there in full force tonight

No time for a let up.

I agree Josh, if this isn’t a sign to Kennedy of the committment Ole Miss has in him, I don’t know what would. I think if after the dust settles and he is still the coach at Ole Miss, he should feel like their is an upmost amount of loyalty to him by the Adminstration. Most coaches would have been fired for being arrested and accused of a felony. In fact, I don’t know many that have survived an arrest, period. If there’s one out there, let me know.

m4, though I might not have been as lenient, it does seem that the administration’s response is indicative of a certain amount of commitment to Kennedy. Like you, I hope after the dust settles coach Kennedy would recognize and respond in kind when other job offers are presented him. It should be noted that, though the entire episode has been embarrassing, the charges he faces are not felonies, but misdemeanors.
