Somebody needs to get in touch with Pete Boone (PA, you may really have a shot at him tonight) and let him know that Colorado is going to be looking for an opponent next year. Miami (OH) just spurned the Buffs to play UK in Cincy on September 5th. That would be a great matchup for the Rebs, if we could work a deal with Memphis.

  2. m4rebs Says:

Check that date and the Memphis comment, the Miami/CU game was scheduled for September 12th. That would work without any movement in the schedule, right?

    Good night I reckon,
Don’t agree to a game in Boulder……….that could be disaster.

  4. m4rebs Says:

That game was also scheduled to be played in Oxford, OH, so it would appear that would work out for us to have a home game, do a return trip to Boulder next year. Probably too easy and too good to be true.

Why is Boulder a disaster, FLA?

  6. Flareb Says:

Air to thin…………seems like alot of teams go up there and get there butt handed to them. Buffs got a young team and a good young coach. Up and coming program. Rebs scare me when they travel.

Agreed, reference Winston-Salem, Lubbock, Lairimie, you name it, we have not faired too well on the road. But to be as competetive as we all think we SHOULD be next year, I think we can handle it. The Buffs aren’t a top 25 program, yet, and I think it is healthy to have a BCS school with a home and home every year. We aren’t always going to get to hand pick ’em. Heck, we are settling on IAA school otherwise.
