HOOPS: Kentucky game thread

I hate to report that I’m having wireless issues here. There are a number of us who are able to connect to the network, but the network is extremely slow and is barely loading pages.

Don’t know if it will load this one.

Anyway, David Huertas went through warm-ups in a warm-up suit. He appears available to play, but is not starting.

Your Ole Miss starters are White, White, Holloway, Graham and Bogan.

The Kentucky fans have turned out in sort of a proportional way. There are far fewer than there normally would be, but in a smaller arena the affect is the same as it would be in the Georgia Dome. In essence, it’s a Kentucky home game.

Rebels are in Red, Cats in White.

Huertas enters the game at 17:18. Cats up 7-5 after Meeks 3-point play.

Guys, this network is so slow, I’m going to skip the score updates. I’ll tell you Meeks has gotten off to a better start with 5 points so far.

  4. djrebel Says:

Meeks hasn’t gotten off a 3 yet. Rebels have shown zone and man with Graham chasing in man.

  5. djrebel Says:

Time at 7:42. Ole Miss leads 23-20 with Holloway at the line when play resumes. Meeks has 8 points, 3-for-7 and 0-for-3 from 3. Terrico has 5 for Ole Miss, Huertas 6 in limited action, no 3s.

Good half for UM…White is incredible, if it weren’t for that 8-0 run he put up by himself, UK might have the momentum right now.

REBS lead 38-36 at the half

  8. rebelgiant66 Says:

That 11-2 run by KY to start the 2nd pretty much wiped out White’s run. Not looking good for the rebs.

  9. imabulldog Says:

    Rebs are just collapsing

Well, now we can focus solely on baseball I guess…

Yall could done some damage when UK was up 10, they went on a 5 minute drought. I think the minor injury to T.White really changed the game.

glad this nightmare season is over

Hey guys. Sorry to disappear. It was a web fiasco here. The signal wasn’t good yesterday. It was worse today courtside when the number of people sharing that signal multiplied.

When there are network problems I’m generally among the first to know with an aging laptop, but there were others having trouble today.

See the above post for some game comments.
