Conference game cancelled due to Weather, will there be a make up?

Just got an e-mail from my bro-in-la Oxford, that the Yocona River Inn burnt. Underneath that old build probably lies a wealth in old coins and other stuff. That building has been there near a 100 years or plus. For years it was a country store, Mr. Manley Franklin’s. Next door was the Old Yocona High School.

Back to the yocona River Inn, I had a few RC colas and moon pies at that old store at lunch time during in my school days at nearby Yocona High School. Years later, my first cousin, Sam, open that things as a catfish restaurant.

    pomeranz is a beast

  9. rebel2011 Says:

Pomeranz did not have dominating numbers, but he was very good at getting out of jams. An error in the fourth made him pitch to 3 or 4 more batters than he should have had to and that was when the weather was at its worst and he couldn’t seem to grip the ball. That’s when he gave up the third run and had to come out after that inning because his pitch count was at 104.
