Defensive end Greg Hardy will return for his senior season. This will update later.
Here’s the link to the official release.
Regarding the foot, Ole Miss coach Houston Nutt said he’s not sure if more surgery will be required, but that’s something they’ll check. Right now Nutt says he expects to have Hardy for spring drills, which begin in March.

It was just announced on ESPN.
Whether you like Hardy or not, there’s no denying that having extra depth on the DL will do nothing but help the defense/team.
I’m going to guess this is injury-related, but I guess we’ll find out at a later time.

Good news to me, I’m just glad I’m not the one that has to put up with him 😀

I like Hardy. He’s a cool guy. Met him a couple of times.

Hardy is a beast, I think his mom had a role in this. Education is important. As a teacher, I am glad to see him going back. As a football fan I cant wait to see him go lights out on some lonely sec qb. PA- what ahve you heard about Barksdale and Bo Tillman- rumors have been going around about both of them. Tillman is supposely enrolled already. If this is true the DL just got even more beef

Guess I was right, again. He was told he would go much higher in the draft if he had a full year of healthy play.

David, don’t know about Bo Tillman. I’ll have to ask around.

Man, we CAN all rest better now. We’re gonna be stacked next year. I just hope the football team will have better luck against injuries than the basketball team did.
January 15, 2009 at 1:47 pm |
Wow! We have to get to the SEC championship now. No question about it.

Hey PA,
Can you check and see if the Demond Washington rumors have any validity. Rivals says he is going to Auburn, but Scout says that those are lies. Thanks man.

Saw the article on Scout. I thought we were recruiting him as a DB, not RB?

David,
Scout is saying one thing, and rivals the other.

The Rebel basketball team is not doing too bad with three (3) starters out. So the Football team would not miss Hardy. Anyway, Coach Kennedy got the Rebs rolling once again. I think thats a great job that he is doing. Never know, the Rebs could work themselves into national tournment play once again.
Baseball park coming along. Game time around 20 Feb. Looking for a very good season this year from the Rebel baseball team, maybe, even a trip to Omaha.
Yep! Coloradoreb youre right again. Any tips on the Kentucky Derby this season or the English Grand National Steeple Chase coming up soon?

DE Greg Hardy: Will return to school.
WR Shay Hodge: Will return to school.
G John Jerry: Will return to school.
Hope this helps the recruits see the potential.
Landsharks will be on the loose again next year.

Like coach Nutt said got another recruit today with Hardy. He will play his butt koff this year and hope to be a top 15 pick next year. This is good for Ole Miss.
